Show Notes

What is it like running the polling operation for a US Presidential Election?

My guest on this episode of inFocus is John Anzalone, one of America’s top pollsters and messaging strategists. With more than 25 years of polling experience, John served as President Biden’s chief pollster. Prior to working on the 2020 campaign, John polled for the Obama and Clinton campaigns and on dozens of Senate, Gubernatorial, and Congressional campaigns. John and his firm say they have helped beat more incumbent Republicans and take back more Republican seats than any polling firm in the nation.

We talked about his experience running the polling work for Biden’s campaign, the state of American public opinion, President Biden’s recovery plan and whether he can start to break down polarization in the US.

Having the chance to interview John was such a privilege. I hope you enjoy our conversation.
